I was just wonderin why there were some features missing from time to time. It stops me from postin certain things(images/links) cause I don't want the positioning to be all out of whack. This is a regular problem. Just wonderin if its cause your updating or what not.

Yes, and why do some old posts just disapear? I was in a thread not long ago and all of Catfishe's post was missing. It was just a blank post but still took up the amount of space it once did.

The bowrd menu doesn't drop down amongst others. When this goes on if I post a pic or a link then try to post text underneath it it all ends up right next to it.

Ohh.. I think I know what you're talking about.
When you copy and paste from another site into the 'what you see is what you get' (WYSIWYG) editor, you sometimes copy formatting that contains tables. The software used on this forum currently does not parse tables, so when you copy and paste something with a table, the formatting gets all fucked up. There's nothing I can do about that. One of the future versions of this software will more than likely add the ability to create tables in your posts, but that's really beyond my scope at the moment.

whenever it does this to me I notice that the drop down menus at the top don't work. I guess its just a glitch but its annoyin.

Well, the drop-downs work in your Adam & Eve post and I've never seen them not work since I fixed them.
As for the the weird formatting, it's exactly what I said.
This is contained in a single column table with invisible border:

When you paste it, the forum software doesn't know how to format the tables so it just puts it all in one line. If you still don't believe me, you can show me (here or through pm) the original source of whatever you are pasting that gets fucked up. Perhaps you have discovered some bug I'm not aware of.

the thing is I didn't copy and paste it all together. I paster the photo usin [img][ /img] tags cause the features on the quick reply box weren't workin at all. I posted the links one by one underneath eachother aswell. Its not like I copied and pasted all of them at once from the source site. This bug or glitch happens even when Im tryn to post a picture or link in another thread then I write text underneath it. Thats without copying and pasting anything. The drop down menus I speak of are the are at the tope of the bowrd like the bowrd menu the search one and quick links one. Whenever those don't work I have this problem.

it was happenin to me way before that andy thing wise guy. Another thing that doesn't work is when you click on a users name theres no drop down menu. It all starts workin again eventually but its just annoyin.

2 lines and two links, and they come out right. Plus the drop-downs all work for me. Anyone else have any of the problems maker's describing?

its not doin it now. but every couple of days I get it. It happened yesterday. If Im the only one with the problem then damn.
^when it does happen even when I try to put a space like that it doesn't work.

Next time this happens to me I'll take screenshots. Hopefully that would help you figure out what the problem is furst.

So Its happenin again so I though I would make some screenshots to try and help out. http://img9.imagepile.net/img9/167glitch1.jpg As you can see theres no triangle for the drop down menus at the top. When this happen its when I have feature problems.

And no matter how much I try to post a space as you see here http://img9.imagepile.net/img9/739glitch2.jpg the text always end up ridin the image or link I post. Its fuckin annoyin. Hope this helps clear up the problem.

By the response that this thread has received, I'm going to say that this is a local problem and you need to check your computer out. Try starting with a new Firefox profile, because for some reason your computer isn't parsing javascript correctly... maybe there are some fucked up extensions you've got installed.
I've never had any of these problems, so it's quite likely that it's a problem with your own computer, rather than a problem with the bowrd.
Oh, www.getfirefox.com try updated your browser to firefox2.0 and see if it still happens.

I was thinkin it could be a problem with my comp. It works then it stops workin. Then works again. Im runnin firefox 2.0 and recently reformatted my comp. I don't tinker with settings either. Just have to deal with it I guess.

Well, for some reason you're comp doesn't even recognize javascript sometimes. I don't know what could be the cause of that. Maybe you've got a virus? http://housecall.trendmicro.com <-- do a virus test there.
