yea, its bangin, I still have XP with the desktop I posted a couple days ago on a seperate partition, but ive been using this 100%.

Im actually uploading the retail copy of Vista on rapidshare right now...need some premium points.

Shit isnt to hard to crack at all, if you are part of the lucky 99.9% of people who have no problem with the Timerstop crack, than you can install Ultimate and be good to go. If you have a problem with that crack, I got another one, that worked for me, but it only works on Vista Business.

Shit has some heavy requirements to run, but ill drop the links if you or anyone else wants to try it out.

It is possible to have Windows and linux on the SAME hard drive if you want, thats how I am set up. It is called a partition. You can split a hard drive in half, or however way you see fit, use one half for Windows, one for linux. For me, I do Windows XP Pro on one, and Windows Vista on another. Then I got a second hard drive for my music/movies/downloads/random data.

I don't know what kind of motherboard, let alone computer you have, but depending, if you have SATA hard drives, there will probably be multiple places to plug into on the motherboard. I know mine has 4, and that is low as my board is old, most have 6 or 8. Same goes with IDE (big fuckin ribbon cable), if that is what your drive is. Old boards usually had a primary and seconday IDE port, most new ones, have just one. But each channel can hold a Master and slave device.

i already got it partitioned 100gig and 50gig. and a decent motherboard, looks like im all set! a mate was fucking about with master and slave shit, i dont know exactly how it works. i got like a tiny chip that clips into the back of my HD to be able to hook up another psychical drive

And I guess from the other ones you posted, when you purchase an Alienware desktop, it comes preloaded with those GUI toolbars and start menu setup? With the prices of those computers, it makes sense though. Alienware has some serious setups available.
